Two people were arrested over the weekend after they stole more than $2,000 worth of tools from a home being renovated, according to Paso Robles police.

On Friday, the Paso Robles Police Department was notified that a residential burglary had occurred in the 400 block of Olive Street. During the investigation, a witness gave police a description of the burglars and their car. Fingerprints at the scene led police to Chad Michael Giacomazza, 31, according to a news release.

Officers went to Giacomazza’s home in the 3900 block of Buena Vista Drive on Saturday morning and found several of the stolen tools, which were returned to the owner. Giacomazza and Andrea Lynn Neider, 20, were taken into custody.

Giacomazza was booked into San Luis Obispo County Jail on suspicion of burglary, possession of stolen property, and criminal conspiracy. Neider was booked on suspicion of burglary and criminal conspiracy. Bail for each suspect is set at $50,000.
