Brown best candidate

San Luis ObispoApril 22, 2013

Paul Brown is the most qualified to serve the remaining 18 months of Andrew Carter’s term. A former San Luis Obispo City Council member, Paul is ready to represent us on day one. Familiar with city issues, he has the experience to craft policy that will help our community prosper. A graduate of Cal Poly, Paul understands the student culture and how to address unique issues that arise as a result of students in our community. A former business owner in San Luis Obispo, Paul understands the contribution of locally owned businesses, and how to cultivate an environment where they can thrive. As a police officer, Paul understands the importance of maintaining a safe community. A member of the steering committee for Measures A & B, Paul showed his commitment to the overall good of the community over special interest groups. A leader in the appeal of binding arbitration, he put aside pressure he faced as a police officer because he believed the financial security of the city was being threatened.

Paul Brown is the only candidate receiving the endorsement of former Councilman Carter, and he will continue Andrew’s commitment to fiscal responsibility. Please support Paul Brown for City Council.
