Cal Poly Rodeo Club celebrated Western heritage at the 73rd Annual Poly Royal Rodeo.

Top college athletes from the Western United States competed in nonstop intercollegiate rodeo action. The first round of the rodeo was held Friday, April 19.

Open House schedule of events

  • 9 a.m. Poly Royal Parade
  • 10 a.m. Opening Ceremonies
  • 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Campus Tours
  • Noon Equestrian Team Showcase
  • 1 to 4 p.m. 34th Annual Open House Truck and Tractor Pull
  • 2 to 3 p.m. Awards Ceremony
  • 5 to 8 p.m. Cal Poly Rodeo
