Cal Poly in 14th place at women's golf tournament

Kirsten Locke is tied for 16th place, leading Cal Poly in the first two rounds of the Fresno State Lexus Classic women’s golf tournament Monday at the Copper River Country Club.

The Mustangs are 14th in the 15-team field with a combined total of 622. There is one more round to be played this morning on the 6,212-yard, par-72 course.

Locke carded rounds of 74 and 77 for a 7-over 151.

Tulsa (594) is the leader, three shots ahead of Long Beach State.
