Reds beat Rockies in Little League play

Special to The CambrianApril 12, 2013

Cambria’s two Little League teams — the Reds and the Rockies — played at Coast Union High School Tuesday, April 9, and, while the Reds won, 16-5, Reds’ coach Gary Stephenson said “the Rockies are really improving.”

Rockies Cameron Milbrath and John Mettier made “great catches,” Stephenson reported. For the Reds, Chase Volz, Beau Burgess and David Amodei were effective on the mound and Reds’ hitters are getting into an early season groove.
