A ribbon-cutting for the recently completed City Hall steps will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at the San Luis Obispo City Hall, 990 Palm St.

The City Council approved the $120,000 project last year. The ceremony will begin with songs performed by a local barbershop quartet, the Treble Makers, and end with a guitar performance by SLO Ambassador Bentley Murdock.
