Strong winds cause power outage in Nipomo

High winds caused more than 1,100 customers in the Nipomo area to lose electricity Tuesday morning, according to PG&E.

The outage occurred around 3:30 a.m., said spokesperson Blair Jones. Power for most of those customers was restored within a few hours. All power was restored by 9 a.m.
