Arroyo Grande hands Templeton its first boys tennis loss

Eli Whittle won 6-0, 6-0, 6-0, and Sean Hollister dropped just one game in a singles sweep as the Arroyo Grande High boys tennis team (13-3) gave visiting Templeton its first loss of the season with a 12-6 win Thursday.

The doubles team of Cole Laughton and Derek Lakowske swept 6-2, 6-0, 6-1 for Arroyo Grande, and the team of Calvin Pinson and Chris Wallace won 2-6, 6-3, 6-3 for Templeton (9-1).

Paso Robles 15, St. Joseph 3

Cooper Austin swept 6-0, 6-1, 6-1 to lead the Bearcats past the Knights in Santa Maria.

Evan Serpa won 6-0, 6-0, 6-2, and the doubles team of Mitchell Keller and Warren Willis won 6-1, 6-1, 6-1 for Paso Robles (2-7, 2-4 PAC 7).

Pioneer Valley 10, Atascadero 8

Elias Jordan swept 6-3, 6-0, 6-0 for the Greyhounds as they fell to the Panthers at home.

Jacob Hass won 6-1, 6-2, 4-6 for Atascadero (2-4 PAC 7).
