SLO boys swim team routs Pioneer Valley

Garrett Tolin won the 50-yard freestyle, in 25.18 seconds, and the 100 breaststroke (1:10.61) for the San Luis Obispo swimming and diving team in a PAC 7 victory over Pioneer Valley, 206-55, on Thursday.

San Luis Obispo’s Tyler Andree won the 100 freestyle (53.34) and 100 backstroke (59.24).

Tolin was joined by teammates Chase Andersen, Nigel Goodison and Kyle Sweasey to win the 400 medley relay (1:59.67) for San Luis Obispo (6-0, 5-0).

GIRLS: Paso Robles 94, Arroyo Grande 92

Amanda Oliver won the 200 freestyle (2:03.65) and the 100 freestyle (58.4) for the Bearcats.

Ryan Springer won the 100 butterfly (1:04.86) and the 100 backstroke (1:06.47) for Paso Robles.

Emma Vogan won the 100 breaststroke (1:20.45) for the Eagles.
