The Cal Poly men's golf B team will play in third place match of Match Play Championship

The CSU Bakersfield men’s golf team will play Seattle in the title match of the Cal Poly Match Play Championship after both teams won a pair of matches at Cypress Ridge Golf Course on Thursday.

In the semifinals, CSU Bakersfield defeated Weber State 4-1 while Seattle advanced with a 3-2 win over the Cal Poly B team. Weber State and the Mustangs B team will play for third place today.

In the consolation bracket, Fresno State beat Utah State 3-2 while the Cal Poly A team won 3.5-1.5 over Northern Colorado. The two teams meet for the consolation title today.
