Crawford finished 2 for 4 with the four RBI, and second baseman Jared Patterson was 2 for 4 with a double, two RBI and a run scored.

Ventura scored four runs in the top of the third. Cuesta took the lead after scoring two in the bottom of the fourth and three more in the fifth before Ventura’s big inning.

Billy Davidson entered the game in the bottom of the eighth with the score 10-6 and runners on second and third with two outs. Cuesta designated hitter Myles Franklin hit a two-run triple to bring the score to 10-8. Franklin finished 3 for 5 with three RBI but was picked off at third base to end the threat.

Davidson pitched around a leadoff walk in the bottom of the ninth for his second save of the year.
