The Cal Poly men’s basketball team learned Monday it will be playing in a postseason tournament for the first time in its Division I history when the Mustangs travel to Weber State on Wednesday in an opening-round game of the CollegeInsider.com Tournament.

Weber State (26-6) lost to Montana in the final of the Big Sky Tournament.

The Mustangs (18-13) lost to Pacific in the semifinals of the Big West Tournament.

Cal Poly has never played Weber State before.
