Registration is coming up for the 2013-2014 kindergarten and transitional kindergarten sessions beginning in the fall at Cambria Grammar School.

Children who will be 5 years old on or before Oct. 1 are eligible to enter kindergarten in the fall. Parents of children who will turn five between Oct. 2 and Dec. 2 are eligible to enter transitional kindergarten in the fall.

Anyone with a child who turns 5 after Dec. 2 can call the school office at 927-4400 to learn about more transitional kindergarten options.

Registration will be held Thursday, March 21, at the school at 3223 Main St.

Registration times are according to last name. A parent or guardian of a student with a last name beginning with letters A through F should come between 8:30 and 9:30 a.m.; those with last names beginning G through M should be there from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.; and those with names beginning N through Z are due from 1 to 2 p.m.

Parents should bring their child’s birth certificate, current immunization records (including tuberculosis clearance, if available) and proof of address.

Prospective kindergarten students need to come along with their parents on registration day for registration and assessment.

Transitional kindergarten students will not be assessed and do not need to accompany their parents on registration day.

For more information, call the school at 927-4400.
