Hot, but no record, in the North County

Published: March 14, 2013

It got warm in the North County on Wednesday but did not reach record-breaking temperatures, according to local PG&E meteorologist John Lindsey.

Paso Robles Municipal Airport reached a high of 87 degrees, well off the all-time record for March 13 of 91 degrees, set in 2007.

Creston’s high was 88 degrees; all-time readings are not officially kept by the National Weather Service for the small North County community.

Today’s forecast calls for more clear, warm weather. Highs will be near 83 degrees for Paso Robles and near 80 in San Luis Obispo, Lindsey said.
