The county’s YMCA has a new leader.
Monica Grant was named Wednesday as the organization’s new Chief Executive Officer and will start May 6.
The former CEO, Jenifer Rhynes, is retiring April 1. She served in that position for 11 years.
Grant is now the Senior Director of Development, Arts Division at University of California, Santa Cruz.
She previously worked for the YMCA in Honolulu and has been involved with the organization for 14 years.
