In The Tribune’s Sunday, March 10 editorial, you agreed with Sheriff Ian Parkinson that, in the gun control debate, we should solve the mental health issue first.

But then you went on to criticize him for his statement to Joe Biden and other federal lawmakers who would try to create laws that would encroach on our Second Amendment rights. You also overlooked that Biden would violate the 10th Amendment in his, and Obama’s, attempt to neutralize the very core of America’s ultimate overseers.

No, we must be the guardians of a great America, although on decline, and protectors of our Constitution.
