Paso Robles police have arrested a 21-year-old man in connection to a string of daytime residential burglaries on the city’s east side.

Investigators analyzed a fingerprint found at one of the homes and determined that it belonged to Larry Charles Harvey of Paso Robles, according to a news release by Lt. Tim Murphy of the Paso Robles Police Department.

Harvey was located at 8:15 p.m. Friday in the 3500 block of Spring Street and arrested on suspicion of burglary, Murphy said. He was being held Monday at County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.

Police have been investigating five burglaries that occurred Feb. 27 and 28 at homes in the 800 block of Red Cloud Road, the 500 block of Navajo Avenue, the 300 block of Crazy Horse Drive and the 300 block of Oak Grove Court.

In each incident, investigators said, someone entered the homes by force between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. after accessing unsecured rear yards. The stolen property included electronics, cash and jewelry.

Miller said the investigation into the burglaries is ongoing, and that police are pursuing all leads.
