I want to express my appreciation to everyone who made Atascadero American Association of University Women’s Mardi Gras scholarship fundraising party such a success.

Attendees enjoyed a costume parade, live music, dancing, authentic New Orleans Mardi Gras food, and an opportunity to bid on goods and services provided by generous community members. A special thank you to Colby Jack’s for sponsoring our event in their restaurant, to the Mudskippers band for lively entertainment, to the many donors for their silent auction gifts, and to everyone who attended and contributed to the party fun. 

We were able to raise more than $6,000 that will be put towards educational scholarships. The event was so well received that we have decided to make it an annual event. Mark your calendars now, and let the good times continue to roll!
