Emily Norton took the loss, and Amanda Sheppard hit a three-run homer in the seventh inning for the Huskies (6-12).
In a 2-1 win over Sacramento State (12-6), the Mustangs scored both runs in the fifth inning.
Trailing 1-0, Cal Poly tied the score on a two-out RBI single by Romano, who advanced to second on a throwing error and scored on Jillian Andersen’s single.
