After two days of questioning, a jury was selected late Wednesday to hear the Dystiny Myers murder trial.

Both Rhonda Wisto and her son, Jacob York, are charged with first-degree murder. The prosecution alleges that they were two of five people who killed Myers, 15, of Santa Maria, and dumped her body in rural Santa Margarita in September of 2010.

Both have entered pleas of not guilty. The other defendants agreed to enter guilty pleas.

Attorney began questioning prospective jurors Tuesday. By Wednesday afternoon, they had selected 12 people to hear the trial, plus alternates.

Attorneys will offer opening statements Monday morning. The trial is expected to last a month.
