Mustangs lose to Pacific in women's tennis

Louise Oxnevad won in singles and doubles play for Cal Poly, but the Mustangs lost 4-3 to Pacific (7-4, 1-0) on Sunday in a Big West Conference match.

Oxnevad and Alexa Lee defeated Iveta Masarova and Regina Suarez 8-6 in doubles, and Oxnevad downed Hana Ritterova 6-3, 2-6, 6-3 in singles.

Jen Cornea and Ané McPike beat Ritterova and Christiana Ferrari 8-5 to secure the doubles point for Cal Poly (2-9, 0-4).

Kathryn Webb also won in singles, beating Gergana Boncheva 6-3, 6-3.
