The Cuesta College softball team lost to San Diego City College 10-7 on Saturday in San Diego and then fell to Imperial Valley 4-3.
The Cougars fell to 7-9 on the season.
The Cougars open Western State Conference play on Thursday with a doubleheader at Oxnard.
