A local wine group recently launched a new website designed to better showcase the group’s information about locations, events and tips associated with the local wineries.

The San Luis Obispo Wine Country Association, formerly known as the San Luis Obispo Vintners Association, published the website at http://www.slowine.com.

“Our new site is designed to get the word out about what sets SLO Wine Country apart, both as a wine-growing area and as a wine tasting destination,” Executive Director Heather Muran said in a statement.

The web site was developed by a number of local firms and professionals: Mooncatcher Communications in Paso Robles for content; iii Design in San Luis Obispo and Clever Concepts Inc. in Paso Robles for site design and programming; and Barry Goyette and Larry Letters for photography Goyette also designed the new logo.
