Regarding Fred Maurice’s Feb. 25 “Obama’s vacation” letter:
Considering the information Mr. Maurice gave us about presidential vacationing, I’m wondering why he overlooked George W. Bush’s taking more than any U.S. president to date. (Average 127 days per year of office.) Maybe he felt it would be trivial compared to the thousands of lives and trillions of dollars lost via the invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan.
