North Coast residents are invited to attend a “Meet the Sheriff” town hall meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, in the Cavalier Cove Room of Cavalier Plaza, 250 San Simeon Road, San Simeon.

Members of the public are invited to share their concerns and learn about services provided by the Sheriff’s Office.

Sheriff Ian Parkinson is expected to update area residents and property owners about department goals he’s met and those on which he and his staff are still working.

Other members of his staff are expected to attend and help Parkinson answer questions.

A similar meeting is set for 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, in the Veterans Memorial Building, 1000 Main St., Cambria.

Parkinson held previous “meet the Sheriff” events a year ago in San Simeon and in June 2011 at a North Coast Advisory Council-sponsored town-hall meeting in Cambria.
