Cafe Musique violinist turns to classical roots at Mission San Miguel

Violinist Brynn Albanese of Cambria, more well-known recently for her work with the popular world-music group Cafe Musique, returns to her classical roots at Mission San Miguel at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, and 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 24.

Albanese will play Mozart’s Fourth Concerto in D Major for Violin and Orchestra with the Symphony of the Vines under the direction of Greg Magie.

Albanese has a music performance degree from the Peabody Conservatory of Music. She was concertmaster and soloist for the Tanglewood Festival Orchestra, Annapolis Symphony Orchestra and Boston Philharmonic; principal second and soloist with the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra; and has performed with the Boston Symphony Orchestra, Baltimore Symphony, the Concertgebouw and the Residentie Orchestra in The Hague.
