Yoshitake shoots final-round 71 to pace Cal Poly women's golf team

Taylor Yoshitake finished one stroke shy of a school record in the final round of the Folino Invitational, leading the Cal Poly women’s golf team to an eighth-place finish on the Babe Didrikson Course of the Industry Hills Golf Club at Pacific Palms in the City of Industry on Tuesday.

Yoshitake carded an even-par 71 to finish in a tie for 14th place with an 18-over 231.

Raychelle Santos of Gonzaga took home the individual title with a 218. Aram Choi of Portland State was second at 219, and Gonzaga’s Victoria Fallgren was third at 222. P

aced by Santos and Fallgren, Gonzaga led the entire tournament, winning the team title with a 902. Host Cal State Fullerton was second at 913, and UC Riverside was third at 917. Cal Poly finished at 942.
