Area pole vaulters take top two spots in Fresno track meet

Two county boys pole vaulters finished 1-2 in the high school division at the Run for the Dream meet Monday in Fresno.

Arroyo Grande High’s Joey Reeves won the pole vault, clearing 15 feet, 6 inches on his second
attempt. The height tied his personal best, Eagles coach James Brown said.

San Luis Obispo’s Connor Hall also cleared 15-6, but took one more attempt to do so and finished second.

Arroyo Grande sprinter Christine Moreno finished 10th in the 600-yard dash in 1 minute, 34.9 seconds.
