Great letter by Abigail Burrus (Feb. 15), a Teach Elementary student, regarding her efforts to clean up the beach by picking up the trash there! In her letter, three key words caught my eye. “I was proud...”  She felt a sense of accomplishment and pride in her simple but effective efforts. She reminds all of us how we can make a difference in keeping our Central California coastal beaches a true paradise!
