Presidents Day, or George Washington’s Birthday, is observed today. Here are some places that are closed:

• All libraries and federal, state, county, city and community-services district offices; K-12 schools; Cuesta College, banks, stock markets and post offices (though Express Mail will be delivered).

• All branches in the county library system are also closed Tuesday.

• Though Cal Poly is closed, the Kennedy Library is open from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m.

• The Tribune offices remain open.
