Planning for the fifth annual Cambria Scarecrow Festival, presented by the Cambria Historical Society for the entire month of October, is underway.

“Last year’s success was breathtaking,” said festival committee co-chairwoman Taylor Hilden. “So, this year the festival has formed an executive committee so that each element of the festival, from publicity to display and judging, runs smoothly and benefits our community."

Also on the committee are co-chairwoman Sue Robinson, Michele Sherman and Charmaine Coimbra, all of Cambria.

Volunteer opportunities are available. For further information, call 909-9000 or 927-2597.
