A crash between a Jeep and a big rig blocked the slow lane of Highway 101 along the Cuesta Grade on Wednesday afternoon.

The Jeep's driver was heading north when her vehicle ran into the back of a semi-trailer south of the summit, according to the California Highway Patrol. She was being evaluated for injuries by medical personnel at the scene of the accident.

The crash was expected to be cleared before rush hour, authorities said.
