UPDATE 2 p.m.: Earle Leroy Lloyd, 63, of Paso Robles has been identified as the man killed Wednesday morning in a motorcycle crash.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Lloyd was driving a 2009 Honda cruiser-style motorcycle west on Linne Road at an unknown speed in heavy fog when he failed to negotiate a curve in the road and went off the roadway. He hit a wire-and-metal fence before being ejected from the motorcycle and landed in a nearby vineyard, where he died of his injuries.
Lloyd was wearing full riding gear and a helmet, according to the CHP.
No other vehicles were involved in the accident.

The California Highway Patrol is investigating the accident, which happened sometime around 6:30 a.m. on Linne Road near Hanson Road.
