The Central Coast Wine Growers Association has named Lisa Bodrogi as its new executive director.

Bodrogi brings more than 25 years of professional land use and public policy experience to the position. The last 15 years of her career were specifically focused in the wine industry.

According to a news release, Bodrogi worked for the past three years as the Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance’s government affairs coordinator. That contract ended in December, she said. She also is a principal with Cuvée Consulting, a land-use consultant for San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara counties.

Bodrogi succeeds the association’s interim executive director, John Burke, who left in the fall after his contract expired.

The association, established in 1974, is a nonprofit organization that represents more than 200 vineyards, wineries and related businesses in San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara counties.
