Nearly 200 signs posted for second annual Thank you for ... Festival

Nearly 200 unique signs, each saying “Thank you for” some specific thing, person, organization or idea, are brightening streets and trails around Cambria as part of the second annual Thank You for … Festival.

The heart-shaped signs were hand-painted by Cambria Grammar School students who attend the Cambria YMCA After-School Program.

Pat Tapper of Cambria happened along some of the signs along the Moonstone Beach Boardwalk and pronounced the idea “a really nice project.” After hearing about the $15 paid by sponsors of each sign are split between costs, the YMCA and the charity of the sponsor’s choice, Dave Tapper declared the concept “fantastic!”
