Weather expected to warm up through the week

Published: February 11, 2013

Once the rising sun melts off widespread frost across San Luis Obispo County on Monday, highs should climb into the 60s, says local PG&E meteorologist John Lindsey.

Temperatures will slowly rise each day this week as high pressure continues to produce clear, crisp winter days. By Friday the high in San Luis Obispo could reach 76 degrees. Overnight lows will remain in the 20s in the North County through Wednesday morning and the 30s elsewhere.

The next chance for rain could be on Presidents Day, but further forecasts will be needed to see if that indeed will occur, said Lindsey.
