Atascadero High downs Pioneer Valley in girls soccer

Maia Mumford had a hat trick and an assist to lead the Atascadero High girls soccer team (10-13-1, 2-10 PAC 7) to a 4-1 win over Pioneer Valley on Friday.

Brynne Guzman had the other goal and Christine Curtis had an assist for the Greyhounds. Sara Seay and Emily Johnson combined to make nine saves.

St. Joseph 2, Paso Robles 1

The Bearcats (12-10-2, 4-7-1 PAC 7) had plenty of chances on goal, but Mary Ortiz’s unassisted goal late in the game was all Paso Robles could manage.

Natalya Marcove had 14 saves in goal for the Bearcats.
