Former Mission Prep star and current Oregon runner Jordan Hasay won the women’s 5,000 meters in a time of 15 minutes, 46.30 seconds, six seconds ahead of second place at the Husky Classic women's indoor track meet Friday in Seattle.

Two Mustangs competed in the 200 meters on the first day of competition.

Erica Goynes finished second in her heat and 36th overall with a time of 26.07 seconds. Sereese Cutler was fifth in her heat and 59th overall in 26.99.
