The author of The New York Times best-seller “The Language of Flowers” is coming to the Central Coast.
Vanessa Diffenbaugh will speak about her novel Feb. 27 at Cuesta College’s Cultural and Performing Arts Center in San Luis Obispo. The free event, which includes a reception and book signing, is part of Cuesta College’s annual Book of the Year program.
Published in 2011 by Ballantine Books, “The Language of Flowers” follows a troubled young woman as she leaves the foster care system in search of her own identity.
