The author of The New York Times best-seller The Language of Flowers is coming to the Central Coast.
Vanessa Diffenbaugh will speak about her novel Feb. 27 at Cuesta Colleges Cultural and Performing Arts Center in San Luis Obispo. The free event, which includes a reception and book signing, is part of Cuesta Colleges annual Book of the Year program.
Published in 2011 by Ballantine Books, The Language of Flowers follows a troubled young woman as she leaves the foster care system in search of her own identity.
