As a conservative, I for once agree with President Obama and his administration on the use of drone attacks on American citizens abroad that have joined enemy terrorists.

My opinion is based on the grounds that we, as a sovereign nation, have every right to protect ourselves against enemies who are bent on doing us harm — just as a homeowner has the right to protect his home from an American who is invading his home without first taking the perpetrator to trial.

The president’s primary job is to protect the people of the United States. I believe that the president is acting within the law by droning American thugs that have joined the terrorists abroad who would see us dead.

I would ask that my fellow Republicans get off of this droning of American terrorists abroad and its constitutionality. It is hurting our party.
