We recently received our notices from the Fire Prevention Fee Service Center stating that, in fact, we are responsible for paying a $115 fee. Many of us had sent in a petition for redetermination opposing this additional unnecessary fee.
In Sunday’s paper (Feb. 3) we read that Cal Fire has been hiding millions of dollars from the budget. How can anybody justify demanding more fees?
