To those Arroyo Grande residents who walk your dogs and pick up after them, especially along Mercado Avenue behind the Walmart shopping complex: If you can pick up after your dog, why do you leave the bags at the base of the nearest tree?

I counted 10 bags the other day. Be like the rest of the responsible walkers who pick up after their dogs and dispose of it in an appropriate trash container. Don’t leave it for the landscape workers to pick up.
