Cambria Community Healthcare District emergency responders have newly acquired cardiac equipment, including 12-lead Zoll monitors, the newest and most technologically advanced monitors available for emergency medical service use. The monitors send information directly to French Hospital Medical Center.

The equipment was paid for by a $108,000 grant from the Federal Emergency Management Agency. The district received the monitors along with other equipment upgrades late last year, including tools that allow administration of life-saving medications.
