The Paso Robles Merry Hill water tank will be drained to be repaired this week.
The tank, on the west side of the city, will be drained starting Monday to allow for a contractor to fix inside surfaces that have deteriorated. The tank, built in 1962, is a circular welded steel structure with a 30-foot diameter and capacity of 150,000 gallons.
Paso Robles Tank Inc. has been hired to do the repairs. The work is expected to be done in early June with the tank back in operation by summer.
