Mission Prep running back Michael Cardwell has verbally committed to play football at Missouri University of Science and Technology, according to Mission Prep coach Chad Henry.

Cardwell rushed for 1,370 yards and 14 touchdowns for the Royals this past season, including a season-high 225 yards against View Park in a game that Mission Prep won 26-14.
