Hannah Gilbert played only two quarters but racked up a team-high 22 points and nine rebounds as the Morro Bay High girls basketball team routed Santa Ynez 63-16 on Monday night.

Nicki Bloom and Kara Schmidt each had 14 points for the Pirates (16-3, 9-0 Los Padres League), and

Sierra Schwellebach and Carli Watt scored eight points apiece.

Morro Bay has a rematch against Templeton (7-1 LPL) at home Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.

Nipomo 41, Santa Maria 33

Taylor Nevitt logged six points and 10 rebounds for the Titans in a road win.

Peyton Maas had seven points and five rebounds, and Tess Lattimer scored eight points, had three rebounds and made two 3-pointers for Nipomo (13-10, 7-3 LPL).
