Published: January 28, 2013

A fundraiser will be held Feb. 10 to benefit the 5Cities Homeless Coalition, which is working to build a Community Services Center in South County to offer a range of resources for low-income and homeless families.

The event, coordinated by volunteers from the coalition and the Nipomo Community Presbyterian Church, will feature chocolate and desserts paired with local wines, and musical guests.

The fundraiser will be held at the Veterans Memorial Building, 780 Bello St. in Pismo Beach. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for a silent auction, followed by a concert at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door, and may be purchased at http://5chc.org or by contacting Liz Howland at liz.howland @5chc.org or 710-4330. Tickets will also be available at the door the evening of the concert.

All proceeds from the event, including the silent auction, will be used to help the 5Cities Homeless Coalition in its work. For more information, visit http://5chc.org.
