Homespun humorist Garrison Keillor is coming back to the Central Coast.
Best known as the host of public radio shows "A Prairie Home Companion" and "The Writer's Almanac," Keillor is a prolific author, essayist and performer whose wry humor and warm baritone have made him an American icon. He was inducted into the Radio Hall of Fame in 1994.
Hes also a frequent visitor to San Luis Obispo, having performed with the San Luis Obispo Symphony in 2002 and staged a live broadcast of A Prairie Home Companion at the Performing Arts Center in 2003. Keillor returned to the venue in 2007 and 2009.
Keillor will share his folksy anecdotes and witty observations during a Feb. 13 solo appearance at the Cohan Center. Tickets cost $30 to $78.
