The Templeton Chamber of Commerce has opened its first office at 524 S. Main St. in downtown Templeton, the chamber announced Monday.
The chambers volunteers previously met at local spots such as coffee shops, private business conference rooms and the community services district office, according to the business group.
The move to a permanent office is another step in the chambers recent growth.
Among those changes is the chamber's hiring of its first executive director, Berdette Robison, in October.
Until the fall, only volunteers, including members of its board of directors and a volunteer ambassadors group, ran the organization.
The group has about 200 business members.
To start, the chambers office hours will be 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
The office will display artwork from local artists and Templeton schools.
