To answer the many illogical analogies put forth against gun control legislation, e.g. knives, hammers, rolling pins, cast-iron skillets, etc., I would quote and paraphrase writer Kurt Vonnegut: The difference is that guns kill impersonally and AT A DISTANCE (my capitals).
